I conceptualized, illustrated, and animated the opening to an imagined monster-dating website called eMagical. I delivered a mystically funky aesthetic by carefully researching font and color scheme combinations that leaned feminine and fantastical. I created every asset and animated by blending frame-by-frame techniques with motion graphics. I included monstrous puns, magical fonts, and sparkling halftones to infuse a fun, flirty aesthetic! Through this project, I learned the workflow of moving from illustrating assets in Illustrator, to tweaking the colors and applying halftones in Photoshop, to finally animating it in After Effects. I strengthened my stylistic precision and valued learning lessons on consistency in style guides
